Jamaica’s senior Reggae Boyz are scheduled to depart the island today for their two-match friendly international tour of the Eastern Caribbean.
The Theodore Whitmore-led 20-man local squad will head for Barbados today where they will overnight before heading on to Grenada tomorrow ahead of Friday’s game against that country inside the Kirani James Athletic Stadium in St George’s at 7:00 pm (Jamaica time).
The team will then return to Barbados ahead of next Monday’s game against that country at the Barbados FA Wildey, also at 7:00 pm (Jamaica time).
The Reggae Boyz are using both games as preparation for the start of the new CONCACAF Nations League on Sunday, September 9, when Jamaica hosts Cayman Islands inside the National Stadium.
The Nations League is a qualifier for the CONCACAF Gold Cup tournament.
